The root claw is often essential for proper repotting of older bonsai. Once a healthy bonsai has not been repotted for a long time, the root ball has taken on the shape of the bonsai shell. This root network must be gently, but also powerfully, untangled. The high quality wooden handle fits well in the hand and with the fine and very pointed, but sturdy prongs, even a heavily rooted root ball can be easily loosened. This claw is well suited for smaller and medium-sized bonsai.
