Fagus sylvatica – European Beech
Alongside the oak, the beech is a typical native deciduous tree. Due to its relatively large leaves, this species is not necessarily the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about bonsai, but it is worthwhile. The surface area can be significantly reduced by pruning the leaves every year. With its striking leaves, smooth bark and incomparable habitus, it makes an impressive addition to the bonsai collection as a solitary specimen and also particularly as a woodland design. European beech and copper beech can also be combined favourably, whether presented next to each other or combined in a pot they harmonise perfectly.

Today our store in Enger offers a large selection of outdoor bonsai, indoor bonsai, bonsai pots as well as everything else for a successful bonsai care and design. Both for the plants and for the accessories, the quality of the products is our top priority. In our own bonsai production we put special emphasis on health and careful cultivation. Imported plants are selected by us personally on site and imported directly. Until they are sold, all bonsai are regularly repotted, conscientiously cared for and, if possible, further developed.
In addition to expert and friendly advice on the phone, by mail or on site, you can of course leave your bonsai for vacation care, wintering or other maintenace with us.
In addition, we regularly offer workshops for beginners and advanced students.
