Kikuwa wire scissors - narrow/short handle, 12 cm, steel
These very small wire scissors are optimal for extensive and time-consuming wire work on pines and junipers. The special design makes it easy to keep these shears in your hand while you wire a branch. To prevent the scissors from slipping out of your hand, you keep one finger in the handle. In addition, even smaller branches can be removed. This makes this tool thus very effective in bonsai care. Stronger wire, however, should still be cut with an ordinary wire cutter to avoid damage to the tool. The steel variety can be easily resharpened.
