Kusamono
Perennials, grasses and moss can be arranged very decoratively and planted in a ceramic bowl, on a piece of wood or stone. In Japan, a distinction is traditionally made between "Kusamono" as a stand-alone planting and "Shitakusa" as a side plant in a bonsai presentation.
