Besides light and air, water is the most important nutrient for the plant. Watering is therefore of central importance but also one of the most difficult tasks in bonsai care. Depending on the tree, substrate and climate, watering must be done differently, and reasonable watering equipment is an important prerequisite to perform this crucial work properly. Watering devices for bonsai are characterized especially by very fine holes in the nozzle. Thus, the water is very finely distributed and can be well absorbed into the soil without washing away the substrat.
