This mortar was made from Indonesian lava stone. In painstaking handwork, the individual elements are hewn from the dark natural stone and carefully reworked. The mortar is a discreet eye-catcher and immediately gives any garden an Asian atmosphere. However, the mortar also works very well on the terrace, balcony, in the apartment and especially natural in combination with bonsai. Over time, with sufficient moisture also forms a handsome green patina and even moss can grow on the lava.
