Root claw - 2 prongs, steel
The root claw is often essential for proper repotting of older bonsai. Once a healthy bonsai has not been repotted for a long time, the root ball has taken on the shape of the bonsai shell. This root network must be untangled gently, but also powerfully. The wooden handle fits comfortably in the hand and the sturdy prongs make it easy to loosen even a heavily rooted root ball. This design has fine prongs and is therefore suitable for finer roots.
