Japanese screw clamps can be used for corrections of the growth direction of trunk and stronger branches. It is often necessary to leave a screw clamp on the trunk or branches for several years. Ingrowth is usually not possible. In the places where the clamp rests against the parts of the plant, it is plastic-coated. The rest is made of galvanized metal or brass. Except for the smallest screw clamp, all other clamps are adjustable in width.
